Fresno State brings the ‘Hype of the Valley’ for homecoming week
Fresno State alumni and students will celebrate homecoming Oct. 21 through 26, with a week of spirited events involving performances, crafts, food, tailgating and football.
In addition to Fresno State’s homecoming football game against San Jose State in which the Bulldogs will debut their new black uniforms, the week will include an alumni takeover at Crow & Wolf.
Homecoming week is an annual tradition where alumni, students, staff, faculty and the Central Valley come together to celebrate their university and alma mater.

Here are some highlights, including events open to Fresno State students, alumni or the general public:
MONDAY, OCT. 21
Ignite the Hype – Homecoming Kickoff
Fresno State students, faculty, and staff will kick off the week of festivities with food, games, giveaways, and entertainment.
Time: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Venue: Memorial Gardens (lawn in front of Kennel Bookstore)
Audience: Fresno State Students, Staff and Faculty
Price: Free
Host: Student Involvement Center
TUESDAY, OCT. 22
Tie Dye and Good Vibes
Fresno State students will design their own homecoming tie-dye shirt – the perfect attire for the homecoming football game. All supplies provided.
Time: 3 to 5 p.m.
Venue: Fresno State Student Housing (outside of Graves Hall)
Audience: Exclusively for Fresno State students
Price: Free
Host: Student Involvement Center and Student Housing
WEDNESDAY, OCT. 23
Live Band Karaoke
An evening of karaoke with a twist – become the lead singer for a live band. Pick your favorite jam to perform.
Time: 7 to 10 p.m.
Venue: Resnick Student Union Event Plaza
Audience: Exclusively for Fresno State students

THURSDAY, OCT. 24
Fresno State Volleyball Game
Cheer on Fresno State women’s volleyball, as the team takes on Nevada.
Time: 6 p.m.

Fresno State Soccer Senior Night
Celebrate the Fresno State women’s soccer seniors on Senior Night as they take on Air Force.

Top Dog Alumni Awards
The Top Dog Alumni Awards is a proud Fresno State tradition that recognizes a select group of Fresno State alumni who have made significant contributions to their community, and whose accomplishments, affiliations and careers have enriched the legacy of excellence at Fresno State. Family Weekend

Alumni Homecoming Takeover at Crow & Wolf
Help bring the Bulldog spirit to Crow & Wolf for an unforgettable homecoming celebration. This event is for proud alumni, die-hard fans or anyone just looking for a great time. Enjoy exclusive craft brews, food trucks, live music and plenty of Fresno State pride as the community comes together to show Valley pride. Make sure to wear Bulldog red. Plus, don’t miss a special appearance by Victor E. Homecoming Student Tailgate
The official student tailgate hosted by Associated Students, Inc. features music, food, games and giveaways

Audience: Exclusively for Fresno State students

Homecoming Football Game vs. San Jose State
Join the Red Wave to cheer on the Bulldogs as they take on rival San Jose State during the homecoming football game. The Bulldogs will debut their new black uniforms.
