When I was in High School in the mid-70ies l my teacher took my class on a nature walk and she knew all about eatable foraged items, and we ( We my class mates and I ) FORAGED massive amounts And a good thing we did … When we got back to our class room and My teacher made a Massive Salad with wild onions mushrooms walnuts apple slices lettuce tomato and Dandelions greens, in the most Delicious ( blackberry vinaigrette ) I've ever tasted !!!! … I was in utter love with the salad …. And I've been hooked ever since …. Yummy!!! ….. I Also make this salad with a (Prune vinaigrette) I Buy the Glass Prunes in its own juices – I coursely chop 2 or 3 prunes its sweet & tangy )
    salt pepper olive and 2 tablespoons of white or cider vinegar …

  2. I've been picking and eating dandelions since small, but never had them in a salad- will try this, looks deelish. Also I wish I could pick lemons off a tree when I needed. Lucky! 🙂
